Cybertots Nurseries

Welcome to Cybertots

With the majority of our nurseries graded ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED, parents can feel happy, relaxed and confident that they are placing their children in a caring and secure environment.

We are aware that the welfare and development of each child is paramount. We treat and respect children as individuals whose needs should be catered for and we also recognise and accommodate the individual needs of parents.

We admit all children regardless of their religion, culture, gender and physical ability and believe that all values from different backgrounds should be recognised and respected. We provide the right level of support and encouragement to help develop their confidence and social skills. It is our aim that during the time your child is at our nursery, they will learn and grow creatively, emotionally, physically and socially to their fullest potential.

About Cybertots

At Cybertots we believe in the enormous potential and curiosity of our children. Each child is an individual with their own thoughts, expressions and emotions. This is why at Cybertots we believe it is important to listen to, observe, interact with and learn from each and every one of our children, in order to best support their growth and development.

Our nursery practitioners have been extensively trained to gather and assess this information to help our children better communicate their feelings and guide them in day to day problem solving and understanding the world around them. We follow their interest and in turn they guide us into their own world and imagination. We help our children to develop a sense of identity by valuing their ideas and choices, as well as introducing them to new ideas and experiences through new styles of learning.

Healthy Body, Healthy Mind

At Cybertots we also believe that physical health is fundamental to developing a healthy mind. At all of our nurseries we encourage physical activities, making exercise fun, with certain settings having a dance/movement teacher who attends weekly.

All of our nurseries employ a dedicated catering team, providing freshly cooked meals on the premises. Every week we offer a new exciting, healthy menu made from fresh produce. We encourage children to taste new foods and ensure that they all have a balanced, healthy diet whilst in our care. We are also able to cater for specific dietary requirements.

We Want You to be a Part of Your Child’s Development

We recognise that it can be a distressing time for both child and parent when parents are required to go back to work and leave their child at nursery; however, we do not believe that this should prevent parents being involved in their child’s development. In fact we believe that teacher, parent and child should collaborate together in the process of learning, and actively promote strong parent-nursery communication and relations.

We actively encourage this relationship from day one. New families are welcomed to view the nursery and participate in open days. We book settling in sessions and adopt a key worker system where one member of staff is specifically chosen to be the point of contact for your child. We conduct home visits in order to understand you and your child’s environment better. These allow us to share relevant information with families and build an open and constructive dialogue with parents. At the same time we get to know your child better so that we can make them feel safe and secure when they come to start nursery.

We maintain this strong parent, child and nursery relationship throughout your child’s time with us, with open days, coffee mornings and in celebration of various cultural events. Your child benefits from these collaborative events by being able to share these special moments with you.
